The incident happened on the final ball of the second over by Marcus Stoinis, when Rahul appeared to have pulled his hamstring while attempting to stop a boundary from RCB skipper Faf du Plessis at covers. As Rahul was running to stop the ball, he fell on the ground midway and held his right leg in pain. He was immediately attended by the physios and was taken off the field.

Punjab Kings sealed a stunning four-wicket win over Chennai Super Kings with Sikandar Raza holding his nerve to knock off the required three runs off the final ball in a tense Indian Premier League match at Chepauk on Sunday. RCB Name Former CSK Star As David Willey's Replacement In IPL 2023

Royal Challengers Bangalore on Monday named Kedar Jadhav as replacement for David Willey for the remainder of the Indian Premier League. Willey, the England all-rounder, played four matches for RCB this season and scalped three wickets. Jadhav, who made his IPL debut in 2010, has so far played 93 IPL games and has 1,196 runs against his name. The right-handed batter, who has previously represented RCB in 17 matches, was brought on board for his base price of Rs 1 crore.
