Some of India's frontline players are likely to be part of the 'A' squad which will face the Lions in two four-day matches during the May-June window in preparation for the five-match Test series against England. India will begin their 45-day trip to England with the first Test at Headingley on June 20, as they will attempt to win the first away series at the Old Blighty since 2007. "The first four-day match will be hosted at The Spitfire Ground, St Lawrence in Canterbury from May 30. The second match is scheduled to begin a week later on June 6 at the County Ground in Northampton," the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) said in a statement.

In the video that has surfaced on social media, Boora was seen lunging towards Hooda during a conversation and holding him by his throat. The family members had to intervene as they separated them but the heated arguments continued between the two parties inside the police station.

Ban On Indian Kabaddi Federation Will Be Lifted Next Month: International Body Chief Vinod Kumar Tiwari

In a respite for Indian kabaddi players, the international governing body of the sport is set to lift suspension imposed on the national federation next month after the court-appointed administrator handed over the charge to the 'elected body'. International Kabaddi Federation (IKF) President Vinod Kumar Tiwari told PTI that the ban will be lifted after an executive council meeting scheduled next month. The IKF had banned the Amateur Kabaddi Federation of India (AKFI) in July last year after the 'elected body' was not allowed to take charge.

In October, last year, the Indian Olympic Association (IOA) formally sent a Letter of Intent to the Future Host Commission, International Olympic Committee (IOC) expressing India's interest to host the Olympics and Paralympics Games in 2036. Now, if a latest report is believed to be true, hosting the multi-sport event could cost India between Rs 34,700 crore to Rs 64,000 crore. A brainstorming session, consisting high-level coordination committee, took place this week in Gandhinagar, where a document, titled 'Review Meeting - Preparedness towards Amdavad 2036', was presented to reiterate India's resolve to host the 2036 Olympics.
