The attack took place at Baisaran, a meadow accessible only on foot or by pony. Taking to Instagram, Kohli expressed his condolences to the families of the victims and hoped that the perpetrators of the act would be brought to justice.

"Deeply saddened by the attack on tourists in Pahalgam. Praying for the victims and for the strength of their families. Let us stand united in hope and humanity," Yuvraj Singh wrote on X.
