Samson looked in a lot of pain and while he did play another delivery after his check-up, the RR captain ultimately decided to leave the field. Samson played the first three matches of IPL 2025 as an Impact Player while he was recovering from injury. While Samson received treatment from the RR physio, one of the commentators said that "a little here and there and it could be grade 1 to 3 muscle tear" for the Indian cricket team star.

On IPL vs PSL Debate, Ex-CSK Star's Cheeky "Want Me To Say Something Silly" Take

England wicketkeeper-batter Sam Billings was asked to name the best franchise based T20 league in the world. Billings, who is currently playing for the Lahore Qalandars in the Pakistan Super League (PSL), suggested the Indian Premier League (IPL) is way ahead of every other T20 league in the world. Billings, who went unsold in the IPL 2025 auction, last played in the tournament in 2022, representing the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). "When Will I Play?": How Karun Nair Pestered Delhi Capitals Coach To Make Playing 12

Delhi Capitals found a new gem in the form of Karun Nair. Into the team due to the absence of Faf du Plessis as an Impact Player, Karun made the most of the opportunity given to him by the management, as he slammed 89 runs in his maiden outing of the campaign. Though the knock couldn't take DC over the line against Mumbai Indians, Karun managed to secure his place in the team for the next matches to come.
