Sable was behind the leading pack throughout and finished at the rear with 16 runners completing the race. The 30-year-old national record holder was competing for the first time since the Diamond League Final in September last year, where he finished ninth with a time of 8 minutes and 17.09 seconds. Questions have been raised over Kohli's play against spinners in the middle overs even previously in the IPL but talking about last year, Malolan said it wasn't fair to single out Kohli. "It wasn't only Virat last season who was not batting at the desired strike rate. It was the whole team. So I think the whole team got together. And that's precisely what happened. India and Lucknow Super Giants leg-spinner Ravi Bishnoi on Saturday said he is satisfied with his career graph in international cricket and doesn't feel any pressure from the intense competition for a spot in the national team in white-ball formats. Having made his international debut in 2022, right-arm leg-spinner Bishnoi has played 42 T20Is and one ODI for India. "It has been good so far. The (IPL) franchise has also shown the faith in me, it's been a good graph, ups and downs are part of any sport but I have been patient and working on my skills and my processes," Bishnoi told the media at the Wankhede Stadium here on Saturday.
The Malaysian Hockey Federation has not extended invitation to Pakistan for the annual Azlan Shah Cup in the wake of non-payment of dues to the tune of USD 10,349 to the Johar Hockey Association. A source in the Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) said the Johar Association has sent a stern official letter to the PHF regrading the dues it needs to pay for the accommodation, travel and other expenses of PHF officials and their families who went to Malaysia with the team in October 2023.
Indian men's doubles pair of Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty have been ruled out of the upcoming Sudirman Cup Finals 2025 due to sickness. The world No. 10 men's doubles duo was set to return to action in the competition after an injury break. "Update: Satwik-Chirag ruled out of BWF Sudirman Cup Finals 2025 due to sickness," the Badminton Association of India wrote in an Instagram story. Satwik and Chirag last competed at the All England Open Super 1000 last month. Since then, they've been absent from the circuit and had also withdrawn from the Badminton Asia Championships.
