India pacer Jasprit Bumrah on Sunday shared a picture of him alongside former South Africa speedster Dale Steyn, and the post has now gone viral on social media. Bumrah, who is likely to lead India in the opening Test of a five-match series against Australia later this month, captioned the post "Goat". Steyn retired from international cricket in 2021 as South Africa's most decorated Test pacer. Bumrah and Steyn played plenty of cricket against each other, international as well as in the IPL, but never got the chance to share a dressing room.

Ace Indian cueist Pankaj Advani clinched a historic 28th world title, seventh in a row, defeating England's Robert Hall 4-2 at the IBSF World Billiards Championship in Doha on Saturday. Advani's winning streak had begun in 2016 and has also survived two years (2020, 2021) of vacuum created by the Covid-19 pandemic. Hall took an early lead in the opening frame, but the Indian rallied to reach the magic 150 first. He then delivered an astonishing unfinished 147 break in the second frame, leaving Hall stunned. The third frame was a masterclass in tactical brilliance from both finalists.
James Anderson To Play For Chennai Super Kings In IPL 2025? England Great Says "Heard..."
With James Anderson entering the Indian Premier League (IPL) auction for the first time ever, former England skipper Michael Vaughan feels the legendary pacer could end up playing for Chennai Super Kings (CSK). Anderson, who retired from Test cricket earlier this year, has registered at a base price of Rs 1.25 crore for the IPL 2025 mega auction, scheduled to be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on November 24 and 25. However, Anderson has not played a T20 game since 2014, and it will be interesting to see if any franchise will show interest to get him on board.
