Ronaldo announces Al-Nassr chapter ‘over’?

PARIS: Portugal icon Cristiano Ronaldo indicated on Monday that he could leave Al-Nassr after declaring that a “chapter is over” hours after the Saudi Pro League finished. Ronaldo, 40, joined Al-Nassr in 2022 from Manchester United and his contract in Saudi Arabia ends this summer. A special transfer window runs from June 1-10 to allow the 32 clubs involved in the Club World Cup to sign players. “This chapter is over,” Ronaldo cryptically said on social media with a photo of him in an Al-Nassr shirt. “The story? Still being written. “Grateful to all,” the former Real Madrid and Juventus attacker added. He posted the message shortly after Al-Nassr lost 3-2 to Al-Fateh in the last game of the season, finishing third. Al-Nassr missed out on the Asian Champions League Elite, losing to Japan’s Kawasaki Frontale in April’s semifinals and were third in the Saudi Pro League. Ronaldo ended as the league’s top goal scorer on 24. Last year, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner said he could end his career wit Al-Nassr.

Cheteshwar Pujara's Blunt Take On Sarfaraz Khan Test Snub: "Management Feels He May Not..."

Cheteshwar Pujara has opened up on Sarfaraz Khan's snub from India's Test squad for the upcoming series against England. Sarfaraz didn't find a place in India's 18-man squad that was announced on Saturday, ahead of a five-match series starting June 20. Sarfaraz had travelled with the team to Australia as part of the squad for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, but he didn't play a single game. Pujara, who was one of the hopefuls over a potential Test return, said the selectors thought Sarfaraz might not succeed in England.

Shubman Gill Sent Blunt Warning By Sunil Gavaskar Over Test Captaincy: "Behave In A Way..."

Legendary Indian cricket team batter Sunil Gavaskar weighed in on Shubman Gill's appointment as the new Test captain. Rahul Dravid Pushed For Shubman Gill's Elevation Over Another Star, Selectors Couldn't Turn Down

When Lakhwinder Singh Gill, an affluent farmer from Chakh Khere Wala village, which is just 10km from the Indo-Pakistan border, decided to move to Mohali to give wings to his younger child Shubman's cricketing talent, he didn't have a Plan B in mind. The boy was not even nine years old but the only 'toy' he ever played with was a cricket bat gifted by his grandfather Sardar Didar Singh. Shubman Gill's story is as much about adhering to the 3 'Ds' (Discipline, Dedication and Determination) as it is about a pushy father, who was ready to move mountains to see his son wear that India cap.

As RP and Raina stood 'against' the notion, Chopra and Bangar debated 'for'. The debate, however, turned into a heated affair, with some intense arguments being made from both sides.

Mohammed Siraj lost his cool at his Gujarat Titans (GT) teammate R Sai Kishore during their final group game of IPL 2025 against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on Sunday. The incident happened on the penultimate ball of the fifth over of CSK's innings. CSK batter Urvil Patel pushed Siraj's delivery towards mid-off and pushed for a single. While he comfortably completed the run, GT captain Shubman Gill decided to have a go at the stumps. Gill affected a direct hit, but the ball went for an overthrow after deflecting with the stumps.
