AC Milan's French goalkeeper Mike Maignan on Sunday called for clubs, fans and the legal system to stand up to racism in football after he was the target of abuse in an Italian Serie A match. Maignan talked of a mob mentality that shrugged off responsibility as a factor that allowed the phenomena to continue in contemporary society.
