Ukraine is set to join Spain and Portugal in a combined bid to host the 2030 World Cup.
Saudi Arabia have won a bid to host the 2029 Asian Winter Games in a futuristic megacity that will cost £440bn to build. The Games will be hosted in the Trojena development which is expected to be completed in 2026.
Ukraine is reportedly set to launch a joint bid with Spain and Portugal to host the 2030 World Cup. The move has been sanctioned by Ukraine's president Volodymyr Zelensky which would see the war-torn nation host one of the tournament's groups.
