(Reuters) - Former rugby league standout Roger Tuivasa-Sheck and his Super Rugby team mate Stephen Perofeta were included in the All Blacks squad for the July series against Ireland on Monday, but there was no room for experienced halfback TJ Perenara.
FIH Pro League: Belgium Thrash India Women 5-0
Indian women's team had a forgettable day in office as it received a sound 0-5 thrashing at the hands of Belgium in a FIH Pro League match in Antwerp on Saturday. Barbara Nelen (2nd minute), Charlotte Englebert (4th), Abi Raye (19th), Stephanie Vanden Borre (23rd) and Ambre Ballenghien (36th) scored a goal each for the hosts, while India drew a blank. Belgium's Barbara gave the hosts an early lead in the second minute as India were caught off guard in the counterattack, leaving the right flank completely open for her to comfortably find the back of the net from the far post.

Young Indian Grandmaster R Praggnanandhaa emerged winner in the Norway Chess Group A open tournament with 7.5 points from nine rounds. The 16-year old GM, the top-seed, was in fine form and remained unbeaten through the nine rounds. He finished the tournament with a win over fellow Indian V Praneeth, an International Master, late on Friday. Praggnanandhaa (Elo 2642) finished a full point ahead of second-placed IM Marsel Efroimski (Israel) and IM Jung Min Seo (Sweden).
