LOS ANGELES : Andy Murray and Sofia Kenin have been handed wild cards for this month's Indian Wells tournament, organizers said on Tuesday.

Novak Djokovic has split from long-term coach Marian Vajda. The 56-year-old Vajda had scaled back his role after Goran Ivanisevic was added to Djokovic's coaching staff for Wimbledon in 2019, accompanying his charge to fewer tournaments — but now comes the news of a clean break. Vajda did not attend the recent Dubai Tennis Championships nor accompany Djokovic to Melbourne for his ill-fated tilt at the Australian Open.
Novak Djokovic will no longer be sponsored by Peugeot after the French carmaker pulled its affiliation with the Serbian star. Carlos Tavares, CEO of Peugeot's parent company Stellantis, broke the news but did not confirm whether it was related to Djokovic's ongoing decision to remain unvaccinated against Covid-19.
