BENGALURU : Indian batsman Virat Kohli said he may not have another tour of Australia left in him after his team's humbling 3-1 test series defeat Down Under but the 36-year-old has ruled out retiring anytime soon as he still enjoys playing the game too much.

Star India batter Virat Kohli has batted for the presence of families on Team India's tours, saying that having them around brings a balance and normalcy, especially when players face tough times, reported ESPNCricinfo. Virat's comments come after the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) introduced directives restricting players' family time on tours following India's 3-1 drubbing to Australia in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy away from home. It ruled that players' immediate families, their partners and children, can only join them for 14 days after the first two weeks of a tour of over 45 days. On shorter tours, players can be accompanied by their families for up to a week.
Dinesh Karthik feels that the Indian Premier League (IPL) has instilled a winning mentality in the Indian players over the years. “The IPL has brought out a winning mentality in all our players. With the influx of money and the financial benefits that a lot of the teams receive, and in turn the stakeholders, much of it has been put back into infrastructure. So, when infrastructure grows, eventually the quality of sport develops as well,” he said in a conversation with Mo Bobat, Director of Cricket, RCB, and former England cricketer, Isa Guha, during the RCB Innovation Lab Indian Sports Summit.
