Wrexham have announced that they will hold talks with goalkeeper Ben Foster about a new deal while confirming top scorer Paul Mullin's contract has been extended.

1) The 40-year-old began his working life as a teacher at Solihull College and joined Birmingham initially on a part-time basis in 2006. In the course of a 10-year footballing apprenticeship, Skinner gained the Uefa A licence and served, variously, as Birmingham’s technical director, reserve-team coach and goalkeeping coach before finally becoming manager in 2016. I t is hard not to smile as Jodi Jones recounts the night before he fired Notts County to Wembley in the final seconds of extra time, a timely moment to register his first goal for the club. “I kept practising my penalty in the front room with my son’s little soft ball,” he says. “I was driving my missus crazy.
