The death of Rangers and Scotland stalwart Ronnie MacKinnon was rightly marked by tributes on the Hotline. Robert Livingstone, Palm Beach, emailed his thoughts on the former defender, who passed away at the age of the 83, saying: "It's just sad to hear of the passing of former Rangers great Ronnie MacKinnon, a superb, centre-half rock solid and dependable, formed what was that great half back line of Greig, MacKinnon and Baxter in a trophy laden golden era. They were unstoppable. Ronnie will always be fondly remembered by Gers fans who lived through those best of times. He was part of Rangers' greatest side."
