ARLINGTON, Texas — Just like the New York Liberty the night before, the Dallas Wings had a chance Wednesday to knock out one of the top four seeds from the WNBA playoffs on their home court. And just like the Chicago Sky against New York, the visiting Connecticut Sun didn't let that happen against Dallas.
DeWanna Bonner scored a game-high 21 points, Alyssa Thomas had 13 points and eight rebounds, and the No. 3 seed Connecticut Sun eased past the short-handed Dallas Wings 73-58 on Wednesday night to advance to the WNBA semifinals.
Dallas Wings leading scorer Arike Ogunbowale is listed as probable for Wednesday's deciding Game 3 of their WNBA first-round playoff series with the Connecticut Sun. The teams meet at 9 p.m. ET (ESPN) at College Park Center in Arlington, Texas.
