World no.5 Rafael Nadal is all set to play his first tournament after winning the Australian Open 2022 title as he takes on Reilly Opelka of the USA in the opening round of the ATP 500 event Abierto Mexicano Telcel to be played at the Arena GNP Seguros. The 21-time grand slam champion will enter the tournament as the fourth seed. Nadal and Opelka are meeting each other for the second time. The last time they met each other was in the semi-finals of Rome Masters 2021, the Spaniard winning it 6-4, 6-4.

Sreejesh beat competition from sport climber Alberto Ginés LOpez of Spain and Italy's wushu player Michele Giordano for the award. "I'm very honoured to win this award. First of all, a big thank you to FIH for nominating me for this award, and secondly thanks to all the Indian hockey lovers around the world, who voted for me," Sreejesh said in a statement.
