Rugby Championship organisers SANZAAR have confirmed that world champions South Africa will continue to play in the annual competition until 2025.
South Africa and their fellow participants have committed to playing in the Rugby Championship until at least 2025.
Talks are set to take place next month aimed at reviving the idea of a World Nations Championship, three years after the concept failed amid promotion and relegation fears.
The southern hemisphere governing body confirmed in a statement on Wednesday that SA Rugby, Rugby Australia, New Zealand Rugby, and Union Argentina Rugby have all committed to the organisation through to the end of the current broadcasting cycle in 2025.
