SunRisers Hyderabad started their Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 season slow, but have come back with all guns blazing, winning four matches on the trot. A large reason behind their success has been their pace attack of Bhuvneshwar Kumar, T Natarajan, Umran Malik and Marco Jansen. Former India batter Sanjay Manjrekar was all praise for the team's pace attack, saying it had a lot of variety, which allowed them to do well as they could use different approaches to ensure they didn't let the opposition run away with the game.

"We were very keen to get Tan Kim Her and also had got the approval of SAI and ministry but then he refused to accept the offer. "Ridiculous Move:" Sanjay Manjrekar Slams Rajasthan Royals For "Bizarre" Tactic vs Gujarat Titans

Gujarat Titans went to the top of the IPL 2022 points table after registering their fourth win this season. The Hardik Pandya-led side defeated Rajasthan Royals by 37 runs on Thursday. It was a complete all-round performance as Gujarat first scored 192/4 in 20 overs and then they restricted Rajasthan Royals to 155/9. Chasing 193, Rajasthan Royals tried something out of the box as they sent in Ravichandran Ashwin at No.3 to partner Jos Buttler who was going hell for leather. However, this move has been criticised by former India batter Sanjay Manjrekar as he termed it as "baffling" and "ridiculous".

IPL 2022: Sanjay Manjrekar Makes Big Statement About Punjab Kings' Left-Arm Pacer

The 12-run defeat at the hands of Punjab Kings (PBKS) was Mumbai Indians' (MI) fifth loss on the trot in this season's Indian Premier League (IPL). Their winless streak continued as Punjab came out on top in crunch situations to claim crucial points against the Rohit Sharma-led team. Apart from the fifties scored by Shikhar Dhawan and Mayank Agarwal, Odean Smith and Arshdeep Singh also contributed immensely in the victory. While Smith took four wickets and broke the backbone of the MI run-chase, Arshdeep's wicketless tally was quite impressive keeping in mind the left-arm bowler only gave away 29 runs in his spell of four overs.
