Kohli, who last scored a century in IPL in 2019, slammed 100 off just 63 balls, smashing 12 fours and four sixes, as RCB chased down 187 with four balls and eight wickets to spare. Needing a win to stay alive in the playoffs race, Kohli and Faf du Plessis (71 off 47) added 172 runs for the biggest opening partnership in IPL 2023.

Royal Challengers Bangalore uploaded video of the team's training session ahead of their crucial IPL 2023 match against SunRisers Hyderabad on the latter's home ground. In the shared clip, RCB player Virat Kohli could be seen bowling to his teammates Faf du Plesis and Glenn Maxwell with his batting pads on. While Maxwell misses the first delivery, he hits the other ones for boundaries. On the other hand, du Plessis too plays big shots on the bowling of the former RCB skipper.
