• Organises basketball championship in Benin Raptors Basketball Club of Lagos, at the weekend, defeated High Flyers of Benin by 33 to 27 points to win the Chukwuka and John Foundation’s yearly competition among young people. Imo Dragons won the third position by defeating Young Stars of Anambra by 23 to 15 in the competition that featured seven states. In the women category, Discover Team from Warri, Delta State, defeated another Warri-based club, Divine Speed, by 17 to 11 points to emerge champions, while Bayelsa team beat Edo girls by 13 points to three to win the third place game.
