The World Figure Skating Championships will be held in the French city of Montpellier between 21-27 March, live on Eurosport and discovery+, one month after the best in the world dazzled at the Winter Olympics in Beijing. Beijing Winter Paralympics Declared Closed
The Beijing Winter Paralympics were officially declared closed on Sunday, after a controversy-hit Games which banned Russian and Belarusian athletes from competing over the invasion of Ukraine. Andrew Parsons, president of the International Paralympic Committee (IPC), declared the event finished and praised its "awesome organisation, vibrant venues and sensational sport" at the closing ceremony in the Chinese capital's "Bird's Nest" stadium.
