Rahul Tewatia was Gujarat's star performer with an unbeaten knock of 43 runs off 25 balls. The all-rounder smacked five fours and two sixes as Gujarat reached 174 for four in 19.3 overs to chase down a target of 171 runs. Meanwhile, PBKS are seventh in the standings with eight points from nine games (four wins and five defeats). Led by Mayank Agarwal, they lost to former captain KL Rahul's side Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), crashing to a 20-run defeat. Against GT, PBKS will be eyeing a better all-round display and all eyes will be on Liam Livingstone. The all-rounder started this season well but his form has dipped recently. If he finds his form against GT, the Englishman could lead PBKS to a win singlehandedly.
Ruturaj Gaikwad and Devon Conway put on 182 runs for the opening wicket in the IPL 2022 match against SunRisers Hyderabad at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune on Sunday, breaking several records in the process. The opening partnership is the biggest for any wicket by a CSK pair while it was also the biggest for any wicket at Pune in the tournament. Gaikwad and Conway also registered the highest partnership for any wicket against SRH in the history of the cash-rich league.

They then went through a five-match losing run, going down twice to Delhi Capitals and once each to Sunrisers Hyderabad, Rajasthan Royals and Gujarat Titans. Their second match of the season against Rajasthan Royals ended that run of defeats as they won by seven wickets.
Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) defeated Rajasthan Royals (RR) by seven wickets in Match 47 of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 season at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Monday. Chasing a target of 153 runs, KKR reached 158 for three in 19.1 overs with Nitish Rana and Rinku Singh playing unbeaten knocks. Rana hammered 48 runs off 37 balls while Rinku slammed 42 runs off 23 deliveries. Earlier, RR had posted 152 for five in 20 overs, with captain Sanju Samson hitting a half-century. Tim Southee was in good form for KKR and bagged two wickets in four overs.
