Tennis Star Emma Raducanu Gets Restraining Order Against Stalker Who Had Walked 23 Miles To Reach Her House

A man who stalked British tennis star Emma Raducanu, walking 23 miles (37 kilometres) to her home and taking one of her father's shoes, was on Wednesday given a five-year restraining order. The 19-year-old US Open champion said Amrit Magar, 35, had made her feel her "freedom has been taken away" and that she was "constantly looking over her shoulder", Bromley Magistrates' Court in south London heard. The former delivery driver from northeast London made three visits to Raducanu's house in southeast London, and on one occasion decorated a tree in the front garden with Christmas lights.

Bangladesh vs Afghanistan, 1st ODI: Bangladesh Pair Record 2nd Highest 7th Wicket Partnership In ODIs To Take Team To Victory

Bangladesh pair of Afif Hossain and Mehidy Hasan showcased immense calm and maturity as they put on a herculean effort to deny Afghanistan in what earlier looked like a comfortable victory for the visitors. Both Hossain and Hasan stitched together an unbroken 174-run partnership that helped the home side escape an embarrassing defeat in the first ODI at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong on Wednesday. In the process, the pair broke the record for the highest 7th wicket stand for Bangladesh in ODIs. They went past the duo of Imrul Kayes and Mohammad Saifuddin who held the top spot for Bangladesh with a 127-run stand, achieved against Zimbabwe in 2018 in Mirpur.

Murray misses milestone and then joins debate on 'reckless' Zverev

Murray described Alexander Zverev's racquet-smashing spree that got the German kicked out of the ATP tournament in Acapulco late on Tuesday as "dangerous" and "reckless". Zverev went on a tirade against the umpire over a disputed call during his doubles opener alongside Marcelo Melo, verbally abusing the official and repeatedly hitting the umpire's chair with his racquet at the end of the match. The ATP tour announced that Zverev had been "withdrawn" from the tournament "due to unsportsmanlike conduct" and the world No.3 will not be able to defend his singles title in Acapulco.
