BCCI, in a release, said Pant, who has played 31 Tests, 30 ODIs and 66 T20Is so far, will join the team ahead of the two-match Test series. The first Test between India and Bangladesh will be played on December 14 at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram. "In consultation with the BCCI Medical Team, Rishabh Pant has been released from the ODI squad. He will join the team ahead of the Test series. No replacement has been sought," the BCCI said in a media release.
