Australian left-handed batter Usman Khawaja believes that his opening partner David Warner is showcasing some best cricket for quite some time. PARIS : Rafael Nadal's season is all but over after he underwent surgery on a hip muscle which will keep him out of action for an estimated five months, his representative said on Saturday.
MADRID: Rafael Nadal’s keyhole surgery on his injured hip was “positive” but he will require a five-month recovery period before playing again, his spokesman said Saturday. The 22-time Grand Slam title winner, who celebrated his 37th birthday on Saturday, could in theory be back in time for the Davis Cup finals in November.
Rafael Nadal is expected to be out for five more months following surgery on his left hip.
Sixth seed Coco Gauff is into the fourth round at the French Open after battling back from a set down to beat Mirra Andreeva 6-7(5) 6-1 6-1 on Saturday. Andreeva has stunned Roland-Garros with the way she has taken to Grand Slam tennis and she took the battle to Gauff, as both players exchanged multiple breaks in the opening set. Ad Gauff emerged as a 15-year-old and she is still only 19, but this was a rare chance for the promising American to come up against a younger opponent.
