Iceland Cricket Trolls Babar Azam With Epic Reply To Pandemic Question

The Cricket World Cup 2023 was a forgettable one for the Pakistan team and its skipper Babar Azam. Despite being one of the most respected batters in the game, Babar failed to leave his mark at the grandest stage, with the results even prompting a change in the Pakistan team's captaincy. Just as the cricket world was looking to move on from Babar and Pakistan's World Cup debacle, Iceland cricket trolled the star batter in epic fashion, while replying to a non-cricketing post on X (formerly Twitter).

Honda Brings In Luca Marini To Replace Marc Marquez In MotoGP

Honda announced on Monday it had signed Italian Luca Marini, the half-brother of MotoGP legend Valentino Rossi, to a two-year deal with its factory team.  Marini, 26, will take over from Marc Marquez, the six-time world champion who is leaving Honda a year early to join his brother at Ducati satellite team Gresini Racing. After making his MotoGP debut in 2021, Marini earned his first two podium finishes this season -- in the United States and Qatar -- as he came eighth overall riding for VR46, the Ducati satellite team owned by Rossi.  He also finished in the top three in four sprint races and twice took pole position. Marini will get a first outing on his new Japanese bike at the post-season tests in Valencia on Tuesday. He will pair up at Honda with 2020 world champion Joan Mir, who endured a disastrous past season in which he finished 22nd after scoring only 26 points. Honda finished bottom of the constructors' standings this season, just as they did in 2022.

"Saying This For Years": Australian Legend Wants Major Rule Change In White-Ball Cricket

Australia legend Mark Waugh has proposed for a major change in the rule of cricket in the white-ball format. The ex-Australia batter has suggested that run scoring through leg-byes should be removed from the limited-overs cricket. Waugh asked the custodian of the laws of cricket to try bringing the change and then evaluate."A batting side should not benefit from leg byes. The whole point of batting is to hit the ball with the bat, not pads. If you score leg byes, it means you've missed the ball, and the bowler has beaten you," wrote a user on X, formerly known as Twitter.

"Masterstroke": Former Sunrisers Hyderabad Head Coach On Mumbai Indians Trading Hardik Pandya From Gujarat Titans

Former Sunrisers Hyderabad head coach and ex-Australia star Tom Moody has praised Mumbai Indians for their trade ahead of Indian Premier League 2024 auction. Mumbai Indians secured Hardik Pandya from Gujarat Titans in an all-cash deal while they sold Cameron Green to Royal Challengers Banglalore in another all-cash trade. "Last minute trade for MI allows them to secure Hardik Pandya, master stoke. Green going to RCB frees up the cash to secure the dream trade. Out of the 3 franchises involved feel Titans have come off the worst. #IPLretention," wrote Moody on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Suryakumar Yadav Only 60 Runs Shy Of Breaking Virat Kohli's Mega T20I Record

Suryakumar Yadav will have an opportunity to break a huge record of Virat Kohli in the third T20I of the five-match series against Australia on Tuesday. The number 1 T20I batter could become the fastest Indian to score 2000 runs in the format if he gets an opportunity to bat against Australia in Guwahati. Suryakumar is 60 runs shy of achieving the milestone. In 52 T20I innings, he has scored 1940 runs. On the other hand, Kohli had reached the landmark of 2000 T20I runs in his 56th innings.
