Naveen-ul-Haq's Insta Story After RCB's Elimination Leaves Virat Kohli Fans Fuming

There would be no Virat Kohli vs Naveen-ul-Haq Round 2 after Royal Challengers Bangalore were eliminated from the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 following a defeat against defending champions Gujarat Titans. Despite Kohli's record 7th IPL ton, RCB ended on the losing side as Shubman Gill also brought up a century. Gill's ton helped GT secure a 6-wicket win while the result meant curtains to the Bengaluru franchise's campaign. After RCB's elimination, Lucknow Super Giants pacer Naveen's Instagram story, however, left many Kohli fans fuming.

Targeted With 'Virat Kohli' Chants, Naveen-ul-Haq's Gautam Gambhir-Like Gesture For Eden Gardens Crowd

Virat Kohli's spat with Lucknow Super Giants (LSG)'s Afghan pacer Naveen-ul-Haq has been one of the highlights of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL). Despite the incident taking place at the start of this month, Naveen is being mocked by rival fans across the country. During the match between LSG and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at Eden Gardens on Saturday, Naveen was once again targeted by fans with raucous "Kohli" chants. However, instead of taking pressure, Naveen also indulged in an exchange with KKR fans.

"The Mango Guy": Naveen-Ul-Haq, After His 'Sweet Mangoes' Insta Post, Gets New Nickname From Nicholas Pooran

Afghanistan pacer Naveen-ul-Haq and mangoes seem to have a quirky relationship. It all started when the bowler got social media buzzing with a post about mangoes. "Sweet mango's," wrote the Afghanistan star while sharing a picture of mangoes being put in front of a TV screen that had Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Mumbai Indians match going on. It is worth noting that the visual the TV screen showed was right after Kohli (1) was dismissed. Given Naveen had a clash with Kohli around a week before, fans speculated it to be the pacer's dig at the India batter.

Pakistan To Participate In SAFF Football Tournament In Bengaluru

Pakistan has confirmed its participation in the South Asian Football Federation Championships in Bengaluru in June-July and the AIFF does not see any problem with the players of the neighbouring country travelling to India. The international tournament will also see participation of Lebanon and Kuwait as the SAFF executive committee in March decided to feature teams from outside the south Asian region with a view to make the championship more competitive. "We don't see any problem in the coming of players from Pakistan to India to participate in the SAFF Championships," All Indian Football Federation secretary general Shaji Prabhakaran told PTI.
