Rutherglen Glencairn target three wins to boost promotion hopes

dailyrecord.co.uk

Rutherglen Glencairn boss Joe Pryce says his side must win all three of their remaining games just to have a chance of promotion from the West of Scotland First Division.

Glencairn dropped down to third when the dust had settled on Saturday’s games, as Ashfield moved back to second with a 3-0 win over Kilwinning.

Shotts’ 2-0 win over Petershill moved them to within a point of Glencairn, with four games in hand, and Johnstone Burgh are sixth after their 3-0 win over Renfrew, having played four fewer games.

Shotts lost 1-0 at home to Johnstone Burgh last night [Tuesday], leaving Burgh level with Shotts on 46 points, one behind third-placed Shotts.
