Former Bayern Munich manager Hansi Flick is reportedly in discussions with Manchester United after being dismissed as a potential candidate for the Chelsea job.

Flick has been unemployed since he stepped down from his position as the German national coach last year due to a series of disappointing results.

The dismissal marked a significant downfall for the 59-year-old, who had an extraordinary two-year stint at Bayern before taking up the Germany role in 2021.

During the 2019/20 season, he steered the Bavarian giants to a Bundesliga, DFB-Pokal, and Champions League treble. He continued his success with victories in the European Super Cup and FIFA World Club Cup and secured another top-tier title the following season.
